the world is a confusing place. sometimes, i wonder why people can't just leave me alone. people have said i'm innocent, naive, that i'm one of the boys. so why is it that so many people keep playing with my mind and heart? because they can? because it's so easy to do it, because i care so much? because i trust people?

i just want the truth. it shouldn't have to be this way. i shouldn't have to be too guarded and cautious and cynical. no one should take advantage of me because i am the way i am.

just a little bitter. i want to find a nice, safe place where no one plays with my feelings for the heck of it.
